Getting your tax sorted and legal status right will help to get your start-up business off to a flying start. Discover the pros and cons of setting up as a sole trader versus limited company, understand your statutory obligations and find out how to stay on the right side of the taxman. This half-day fact-filled workshop will be run by Janice Webster, an experienced qualified accountant.


In this workshop we'll discuss: 

  • The advantages and disadvantages of setting up as a sole trader, partnership, limited company, community interest company or charitable incorporated organisation
  • Your legal and tax responsibilities as a business owner
  • Thinking ahead: future-proofing your business
